Here is a story for you, a personal fitness trainer website story.
Last week I presented at Create PT Wealth seminar, teaching personal trainers about driving traffic to their business online. I covered a number of aspects like, pay per click advertising, seo, social media and much more.
Here is an email I got yesterday from one of the trainers who attended the seminar:
Hi Alex,
Here is an update from the seminar a couple of weeks ago. I changed my keywords my so called SEO specialists had told me were the ones I needed to use. I simply changed them and changed my home page content and magic has happened. I am appearing 1st page in the local areas I have used keywords for. No wait and see, no you have to spend X amount to get results.
Added to which I had a call this afternoon from a prospective client from Melbourne who is coming to the coast for a couple of weeks holiday. Lisa will be doing 8-10 1+1 sessions with me while she is here plus an ongoing program which I will provide her when she goes back to Melbourne. Dollar value is approx $2k just from changing my keywords. I will be buying you a vodka or two when I see you on the weekend at the seminar.
Lisa still needs to turn up and train but this is a great story about how having the correct keywords will target your specific areas. So much for SEO specialists. I understand they have their place for specific items but I now consider them lower than car salesman. They are only after a quick buck!!
